Here at Bella Mia Gardens we are very passionate about helping the bees, birds, butterflies, hummingbirds, ladybugs and beneficial insects. They are such a vital and important role in our world and our ecosystem, we encourage everyone to do their part to help them thrive!

Their populations are declining due to pesticides, herbicides, more lawns and less flowers, climate change, parasites and more environmental and human created factors. We rely on pollinators and beneficial insects for many reasons. They pollinate flowers, fruits and vegetables which are critical to our food supply and to other animals, birds, wildlife and insects. This also makes the plants produce better and be more genetically diverse so they become stronger and more resistant to pests and diseases. The plants need pollination to produce seed, without it we will lose our plants if the chain is broken. Pollinators have an effect on our entire food chain and ecosystem. Without them it would be devastating to life as we know it.

Help do your part and grow a beneficial herb garden for the pollinators and insects to enjoy throughout the season. You can easily grow herbs in your back yard, garden, patio or windowsill and provide shelter and a safe place for them to feed, rest, build, find mates and thrive.
